Suzanne is a vice president at Jones PR. Bringing more than 15 years of experience in communications, she is a creative professional who enjoys cultivating community and stakeholder relations and providing proactive counsel to clients. In 2018, she won Public Relations Society of America’s highest honor, a Silver Anvil Award, for best national public affairs campaign.
Suzanne served over a decade in federal government service working in Washington, D.C. She spent seven years on the personal staffs of two ranking members of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee where she drafted and successfully passed legislation aimed at advancing fiscally responsible policy initiatives.
She also served more than three years at the Department of Homeland Security as a congressional affairs liaison on behalf of U.S. Customs Border and Protection, the largest federal law enforcement agency in the United States. Providing the link between DHS, CBP, and Congress, she advised federal officials on strategic congressional outreach activities and public policy issues.
In addition to her public affairs experience, Suzanne brings valuable perspective as a former small business owner. As principal of Anchored Consulting Associates, she developed marketing and communication strategies for small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma.
Named one of The Journal Record's Achievers Under 40 in 2016 and a member of Leadership OKC Class 36, Suzanne actively serves on the Junior League of Oklahoma City Board of Directors, Redbud Classic Advisory Board and OKC Ballet Associates Board. In 2010, she was awarded the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Service Award for serving over 100 hours of community service at the Smithsonian Institute. Suzanne is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies.
