New (and old) coffee shops in OKC

Nicona Lane – Digital Media Manager

Oklahoma City’s coffee scene is growing. Whether you’re in Uptown or Downtown, there seems to be a new coffee shop in every part of the city to help you get through the busy work day.

I’ve pulled together a list of some of my new and old favorite coffee shops that you need to check out.

  • Prelude Coffee Roasters is a new micro-roastery located in Automobile Alley inside the 8th Street Market. Whether you’re craving a black cup or a horchata latte, you can’t go wrong. I
  • Stitch has two locations: one in Film Row and another in Bricktown. The Film Row location, which serves coffee, lunch and drinks, is open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
  • StellaNova has a new location at Robinson and Park in downtown Oklahoma City. It’s a great spot for a meeting and the pastries are delicious.
  • Cuppies & Joe has been around for many years and continues to excel in cupcakes and coffee in Uptown. If you’ve not had the Boom Boom Pow, then you definitely need to make this your next stop for coffee.
  • Clarity Coffee’s special drinks like the Clarity Cool Down and secret drink menu will have you coming back with a friend because they’re that good. It’s located near City Hall in downtown.
