Meghan Jackson joined Jones PR as an Account Executive of Public Affairs in April 2017. As an Account Executive, Meghan works with public affairs groups and organizations.
Meghan grew up in Shawnee. She graduated from St. Gregory’s University in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. She began her Journalism career at The Lawton Constitution reporting on stories relating to the arts and entertainment beat and later the crime/courts scene.
After spending 3 ½ years in southwest Oklahoma, Meghan accepted a reporting position at The Norman Transcript. During her time at the daily newspaper, she covered education, medical, business and crime/courts beats.
Meghan stepped into the Public Relations field in July 2011 when she was selected as the Community Liaison for the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office. Meghan served as the primary public information officer, worked with community groups and organized the department’s Kindergarten Safety Program.
Meghan lives in Norman with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out at the gym and cooking.
