Jake joined Jones PR in December 2015. Jake works to identify and create interesting and influential editorial content from around the state to be featured on Oklahoma's new innovative online publishing platform, The Oklahoma 100. Additionally, Jake develops the project’s editorial calendar, produces online multimedia components, and coordinates The Oklahoma 100’s social media and promotional strategy.
Prior to joining Jones PR, Jake worked as a Development Officer at the University of Oklahoma where he facilitated alumni and donor relations, developed social media tactics and other online initiatives to advance fundraising efforts, increase donor dollars and program visibility.
Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor degree in Public Affairs & Administration. While at the University of Oklahoma, Jake was a member of the President’s Leadership Class (PLC) and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and was awarded the prestigious J.R. Morris Campus Life Award by the Division of Student Affairs and was named in the top ten of his class (Award for Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore and Junior) in 2012, 2013, 2014 by the University President and Board of Regents.
During his spare time, Jake enjoys traveling, concerts and spending time with his puppy son Scout.
