Brenda Jones Barwick offers extensive communications expertise honed from experience at the highest levels of government in Washington, D.C., international diplomacy in Europe and corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies.
Her career highlights include serving in the White House West Wing as a writer for President Ronald Reagan. Subsequently, he appointed her to the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service, where she coordinated diplomatic events, Congressional visits and developed public outreach initiatives at the American Embassy in Switzerland. She later served on a Presidential Commission that advised President George H.W. Bush and Congress on restructuring the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Before founding Jones Strategies, Brenda served as Vice President of Public Relations for one of the largest advertising agencies in the Southwest. In this role, she implemented media campaigns for Six Flags Parks and several Fortune 500 companies.
Since its founding in 2001, Jones Strategies has achieved significant acclaim for its client work, including international recognition such as a Gold Lion Award at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity in France, and national recognition with several Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards from the Public Relations Society of America in New York. Brenda herself has received numerous national and local awards for her significant contributions to advancing the communications industry.
Driven to serve, Brenda is also a respected civic leader. Her vision spearheaded the formation of the annual Oklahoma Aerospace Forum, which fosters economic growth in the aerospace industry. As Chair of the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women, she led statewide efforts focused on access to affordable childcare and recognizing human trafficking.
I have known Brenda for 30 years and do not know anyone better when it comes to strategy and communications.
