Someone asked me today if Jones PR is five years old yet. When I told her that 2016 is our 15th anniversary, we both remarked how fast time goes by.
In these 15 years, Jones PR has provided jobs to 40 young, aspiring Oklahomans with bright futures, and some who are working today for PR firms from Portland, Oregon, to Miami, Florida.
To celebrate our 15th year in business, we have set the trend on several firsts for Oklahoma. We are the first Oklahoma agency to launch the “.pr” domain name instead of the standard “.com” for our website and email addresses. Second, we are the first Oklahoma agency to ever be a finalist in the coveted PRWeek national awards that will be announced March 17 on Wall Street.
Also, Jones PR is the first Oklahoma agency to be invited as a partner to the prestigious and largest partnership of independent agencies, Public Relations Organization International. This global presence brings 67 international partners with over 100 offices to serve our clients’ interests nationwide and abroad.
As 2016 unrolls, we will be announcing more 15th anniversary celebratory activities while continuing to put our clients first. They are the reason we have reached 15 years, and we appreciate each and every one of you!
