Holiday Gift Guide for PR Pros
Thanksgiving leftovers are in the fridge, and the holiday season has officially begun. With that comes the shopping. Before you venture to the danger zone that is the mall, make sure you know exactly what you are getting your beloved PR professional this season. Here is my list of the top ten gifts for PR people. You might even be able to find some online!
1. Subscription to the online version of the AP Stylebook
This is THE best resource for any writer or PR pro, but the books are slightly bulky. Chances are that they will already have a hard copy on their desk but having a more portable version will make them squeal with delight.
2. Pens
PR pros LOVE pens, and they are serious about them. Find out what their favorite pens are and supply them with enough to get them through the New Year. Match the pens to a cute notebook or personalized stationary, and you’re in business.
3. Planner
All PR pros should have an organizer or planner for the New Year. Chances are that they have yet to get one or have their eyes on their favorite and are waiting for a sale. See my previous post about finding the right planner for more ideas!

PR pros work a ton, more than you might think. Give them a reason to go to a sporting event or concert and have a fun “night off.”
