We all know the saying, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day,” but when the reality of the work day starts, many are in such a hurry they end up just grabbing a cup of joe.
Here’s how to add a quick protein in the AM:
1. Grab a microwave-friendly mug.
2. Crack anywhere between one to three eggs, season with salt/pepper, and add cooked ingredients like ham or bell peppers.
3. Cook on high and stir halfway through cooking time: (one egg: 1 minute; two eggs: 1 minute, 15 seconds; three eggs: 1.5 minutes).
